NULÁ began as a dream—founded by Anouk Pompe, a lifelong fashion lover who always aspired to create her own brand. After years of working in marketing, styling, and fashion, she finally decided to chase that dream and bring NULÁ to life. 

From a young age, Anouk had a special connection with sunglasses. She recalls: 

"I wore sunglasses as part of my outfit from an early age. One day, when I was nine, my family and I went on a trip to visit relatives—a two-hour drive. On the way back, I realized I had left behind my beloved white sunglasses with glitter details. I begged my dad to turn the car around, but we were already halfway home. He refused, and I couldn’t stop asking. Frustrated, he eventually pulled over and told me I could only get back in if I stopped insisting—otherwise, he’d drive away without me. From that day on, I never lost a pair of sunglasses again."
